The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Castilian Spanish Audio Transcript Editor to review audio recordings from Spain's Spanish dialect against existing transcripts. You will correct word-level transcription errors and refine punctuation, spelling, formatting, and timing.
The role combines careful listening with consistent editorial judgment. You will work independently and asynchronously, identify unclear audio or overlapping speech, and flag material that needs additional review.

What You'll Do
You will maintain accurate, consistent transcript data by comparing spoken Castilian Spanish with existing written transcripts and applying detailed editorial and formatting guidelines.
Listen to Castilian Spanish recordings and compare them with existing transcripts
Correct misheard words, spelling, punctuation, and formatting issues
Verify and adjust word-level timestamps so text aligns precisely with audio
Apply style and formatting guidelines consistently
Identify unclear audio segments and overlapping speakers
Flag content that requires additional review
Work independently and asynchronously while maintaining quality
Requirements
You should have native or near-native fluency in Castilian Spanish, including familiarity with Spain-specific pronunciation, vocabulary, and regional language nuances. Strong listening skills and excellent written Spanish are essential.
The work requires a methodical approach to repetitive precision tasks, comfort with exact timing and word-level accuracy, and the ability to follow detailed editorial and formatting guidelines reliably. Prior AI or technology experience is not required.
Native or near-native Castilian Spanish fluency
Ability to distinguish words accurately in varied audio conditions
Strong written Spanish and listening skills

Helpful Background
