What you’ll do
Capture screenshots from professional CAD workflows in tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit, Siemens NX, or similar.
Annotate buttons, menus, panels, toolbars, dialogs and other interactive UI elements accurately and consistently using bounding boxes/object-detection labels.
Write clear, natural-English task instructions that reflect expert usage patterns and precise workflows.
Iterate on submissions after feedback during the pilot phase and maintain quality standards in production.
Requirements
Hands-on professional experience using CAD software (examples: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit, Siemens NX).
Strong working knowledge of daily CAD workflows and complex interfaces.
Ability to recognize and annotate interactive UI elements in dense, technical software screens.
Clear written English and skill writing concise, usable task instructions.
Reliable access to the relevant CAD software for capturing screenshots.
High attention to detail and ability to follow capture and annotation guidelines precisely.
Helpful background
You do not need prior AI-labeling experience if you have strong CAD expertise, but familiarity with screenshot-based annotation, software documentation, or precision QA work is an advantage.
Experience with UI annotation workflows or image labeling tools is helpful.
Prior work producing technical screenshots or software tutorials is a plus.
How this project works
The project starts with a pilot phase: early submissions receive close review and feedback to ensure alignment with labeling guidelines. After the pilot, you will move into production with ongoing quality checks and feedback cycles.
Apply with examples of your CAD experience and confirm you have the listed software available. Successful contributors are typically contracted and billed hourly for the work they complete.
Label types: bounding box / object detection; you will also produce natural-language task instructions (text generation).
