About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, review, and correct examples that models learn from. Tasks range from annotating images and transcribing audio to writing and reviewing model-generated code.

This work is highly flexible and remote-friendly—many contributors set their own schedules and balance labeling with other commitments while doing impactful, cutting-edge work.

The role

We’re hiring experienced C# developers to create and curate training data for AI systems. Your primary responsibilities are writing code snippets and short programs from prompts, debugging and correcting AI-generated C# code, and refining examples so models learn correct patterns.

This is a long-term project (6+ months) with a 20–40 hour/week commitment and a flexible schedule. Work is 100% remote and open to contributors worldwide.

What you'll do

Daily tasks focus on producing accurate, well-documented C# examples and reviewing AI outputs for correctness, style, and requirements.

  • Write short C# programs and code snippets based on provided prompts and specifications.
  • Debug and correct AI-generated C# code to meet functional and stylistic requirements.
  • Optimize and refactor code examples for clarity, performance, and best practices.
  • Flag ambiguous or incorrect prompts and provide suggested fixes to improve dataset quality.
  • Document test cases or expected behavior for code examples when requested.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the stated academic and professional experience requirements and be able to maintain a reliable remote work setup.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on C#.
  • Proven ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize C# code.
  • Effective communication skills in English and ability to collaborate remotely.
  • Stable internet connection and reliable electricity to ensure consistent remote work.
  • Ability to commit 20–40 hours per week for a duration of 6 months or more.
  • After you apply you will receive a C# coding assessment to verify skills; applicants with under 2 years of C# experience may receive lower proposal scores.
