About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Specialists review examples, evaluate model responses, and provide structured feedback so AI systems can become more accurate, useful, safe, and reliable.

This is remote, flexible work in a fast-growing technology field. Contributors with programming expertise directly influence how advanced AI systems understand and produce code.

The Role

As a Senior C# Code Reviewer, you will audit reviews of AI-generated C# code. For each submission, you will compile and run the code in an isolated container, confirm that it follows the prompt, verify that it functions correctly, and assess performance and security practices.

You will correct inaccurate ratings, provide targeted written feedback, and ensure every review meets the applicable project quality rubric. The contract is part-time, requires 20 or more hours per week, and pays $25 USD per hour.

  • Role type: Contractor and part time
  • Workload: 20+ hours per week
  • Pay: $25 USD per hour
  • Language: English
  • Location eligibility: India, the Philippines, and Vietnam

What You'll Review

You will evaluate modern C# and .NET submissions for prompt compliance, functional correctness, maintainability, efficiency, and security. Reviews may involve compiling, executing, debugging, and comparing code behavior against the intended requirements in a sandbox or container environment.

  • Check C# code for correctness and adherence to the prompt
  • Identify mis-ratings in annotator reviews and correct them
  • Evaluate async code, LINQ, generics, dependency injection, and CLR-related behavior
  • Assess thread safety, concurrency, performance, and garbage collection concerns
  • Detect risks such as injection, race conditions, unsafe casts, deserialization flaws, and privilege escalation
  • Use targeted, concise feedback to explain review decisions

Required Experience and Technical Skills

You should have at least seven years of professional experience in C# and .NET development, quality assurance, or dedicated code-review roles. Deep technical knowledge and clear, concise written English are essential; the requirements specify English proficiency at B2 or higher on the CEFR scale.

  • Expertise in modern C# versions 10 through 13 and .NET Core, including ASP.NET
  • Strong knowledge of generics, async/await, LINQ, dependency injection, and CLR internals
  • Advanced experience with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, plus Testcontainers, Moq, and coverage tools such as Coverlet or dotCover
  • Ability to use Visual Studio or Rider debuggers and profiling tools such as dotTrace or dotMemory
  • Experience analyzing thread safety, the Task Parallel Library, Channels, and high-throughput scenarios
  • Knowledge of profiling and garbage collection tuning
  • Ability to identify and mitigate OWASP issues including XSS and SQL injection
  • Proficiency with MSBuild, the .NET CLI, Dockerized builds, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab pull-request workflows
  • Comfort compiling and executing code in sandbox or container environments
  • Experience with rubric-based scoring, checklist reviews, and ticketing or annotation tools such as Jira or Asana
  • Excellent written English and the ability to provide concise feedback

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience in AI evaluation, reinforcement learning from human feedback pipelines, or AI and machine-learning data-labeling projects is helpful. You may also mentor peers on software engineering best practices through clear, practical feedback.

  • Prior experience evaluating large language model outputs
  • Experience with RLHF pipelines
  • Previous work on AI or machine-learning data-labeling projects

Why This Work Matters

Every major AI system depends on carefully prepared and reviewed examples. By validating generated code and improving the quality of human evaluations, you will help shape how AI systems write, reason about, and assess software.

The work is fully remote and designed for flexible participation, making it possible to contribute from an eligible country while building experience in an expanding AI-training industry.
