The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Business Strategy AI Evaluation Consultant to improve how AI models reason through complex business problems. You will work as an independent contractor, evaluating AI-generated responses and creating high-quality training materials using consulting methods and structured business judgment.

This part-time opportunity requires 20 or more hours per week and is available worldwide. Work is conducted in English, with compensation of $245 to $280 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will assess whether AI responses solve business strategy and consulting-style problems with sound reasoning. Your work will combine structured evaluation, careful written feedback, and the creation of high-quality examples for model training.

Project guidelines may evolve, so you will need to apply updated instructions consistently across assignments while maintaining a high standard of business analysis and communication.

• Evaluate AI model responses to business strategy and consulting-style problems

• Identify gaps, unsupported conclusions, and weaknesses in model-generated analysis
• Write clear prompts, high-quality model answers, and detailed business feedback

Required Qualifications

This opportunity is suited to someone with practical management consulting experience and the ability to judge the quality of complex business reasoning. You should have at least one year of experience at a top management consulting firm or in a similar consulting environment, including some consulting experience within the past seven years.

Although the opportunity is classified as entry level within the project structure, the work requires demonstrated consulting experience, strong business judgment, and excellent written English.

Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates with relevant experience in business strategy, business analysis, market research, financial analysis, stakeholder management, or business writing may be well suited to this work.

An undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university and residence in an English-speaking country are preferred qualifications.
