The role

You will be a UK-based Business Operations & Compliance Expert supporting frontier AI training scenarios. Your primary mission is to convert regulations and internal policy into clear, actionable operating materials—checklists, approval steps, training content, recurring controls, RACI matrices, and review templates.

This is a contractor, part-time role requiring 20+ hours per week and synchronous collaboration on a UK business-hours rhythm, including live sessions during working days and occasional evening messages.

What you'll do

• Review and evaluate business operations and compliance scenarios specific to AI training and reviewer workflows.
• Translate regulatory requirements and internal policies into clear checklists, approval steps, examples, and plain-language guidance.
• Design recurring controls, control documentation, monthly operating reviews, and monitoring cadence materials.
• Define RACI structures, data checks, approval workflows, and templates for regular operating reviews.
• Create compliance training content that explains requirements without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Assess when issues should be escalated to legal and document escalation criteria and judgment guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team in UK business hours, joining live sessions on working days and responding to occasional evening coordination.

Requirements

• 5+ years in business operations, internal controls, advertising or marketing operations, risk, or compliance program management.
• Proven experience translating regulatory requirements and policies into practical workflows, controls, and checklists.
• Experience designing and delivering compliance training and recurring control documentation.
• Familiarity defining RACI matrices, approval workflows, and data checks for operational processes.
• Strong written communication and sound judgment when identifying and escalating legal questions.
• Based in the United Kingdom and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
