The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Brazilian Portuguese Voice Actor to create engaging voice recordings for AI projects involving characters, stories, and varied content domains. You will use vocal performance to convey the intended emotion, personality, tone, clarity, and pacing while producing high-quality audio assets.

This is a flexible freelance contractor opportunity available worldwide. Work may be completed remotely from a professional home studio or through in-studio sessions, depending on the project arrangement.

What You’ll Do

You will perform scripted lines and deliver polished audio that follows project instructions. The work requires interpreting scripts, responding to creative direction, and maintaining consistent vocal and recording quality throughout each assignment.

• Record Brazilian Portuguese voiceovers for characters, stories, and diverse project content.
• Perform scripted lines with clear speech, emotional range, vocal control, and appropriate pacing.
• Interpret scripts and respond effectively to creative direction.
• Revise performances based on feedback while maintaining the intended tone and delivery.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality audio files on time and in the correct format.
• Maintain consistent recording quality when working from a professional home studio.

Requirements and Helpful Experience

You should have previous voice acting experience with demonstrated vocal control and versatility. Clear Brazilian Portuguese speech, reliable communication, attention to delivery details, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Experience with dubbing, ADR, or localization can help you adapt performances to different characters and content contexts. A demo reel, acting or performing arts background, and familiarity with audio editing tools can further demonstrate your range and support recording preparation.
