The Role
OpenTrain is hiring a Brazilian Portuguese Audio Transcript Editor to support AI training work focused on Brazilian Portuguese speech. You will compare machine-generated transcripts with audio recordings and improve their accuracy so AI systems can better understand spoken Portuguese.
This is fully remote, flexible contractor work for specialists based in Brazil. The role is part-time and suitable for entry-level candidates, and prior AI training experience is not required.

What You'll Do
You will review spoken Brazilian Portuguese at the word level, applying detailed transcription and formatting guidelines consistently. The work requires careful listening, sound judgment, and steady accuracy across repeated review tasks.
Listen to Brazilian Portuguese audio and compare it with existing transcripts
Correct missing, misspelled, or incorrect words
Fix punctuation, accents, timestamps, and timing alignments
Apply transcription style and formatting guidelines consistently
Flag unclear audio, overlapping speakers, and other quality issues
Work independently using web-based tools and audio playback interfaces
Requirements
You should have native-level Brazilian Portuguese ability and excellent written language skills. Strong listening ability is important, including the capacity to understand audio with varying quality and make careful decisions when speech is unclear or speakers overlap.
