The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Bengali Music AI Evaluation Expert to assess generative music models through structured listening and comparison. You will review AI-generated songs, lyrics, and vocals, with particular attention to musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, production, and mixing.

The role also includes classifying musical characteristics in Bengali and English, including genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other relevant attributes.

What You'll Do

You will apply consistent evaluation standards across a broad range of musical content. Careful listening and accurate classification are central to the work.

• Compare AI-generated songs for musicality and creativity
• Assess whether generated music follows the prompt
• Evaluate vocal quality, production quality, and mixing
• Classify songs by genre and sub-genre
• Identify musical structure, instruments, vocals, and other characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material
• Apply consistent standards to generated music and audio content

Requirements

This role requires strong Bengali language ability, careful attention to written instructions in English, and professional experience working with music or audio. You must be able to make reliable judgments through critical listening.

• Native or near-native Bengali proficiency
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• At least two years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
• Ability to evaluate music consistently across a broad range of genres
• Ability to judge musicality, vocals, prompt adherence, and production quality
• Familiarity with contemporary Bengali genres and sub-genres
