What it pays and takes

This is a part-time contractor role with work scheduled for less than 20 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work in English and meet the aviation maintenance and inspection requirements below.

• Pay: $40 to $60 per hour.
• Time: Less than 20 hours per week.
• Location: Open to candidates in the listed countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Certification: FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, Inspection Authorization, or equivalent Part 145 inspector status.
• Experience: At least eight years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 and their practical application.
• Skills: Strong technical writing and verbal communication, plus the ability to interpret maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, inspection data, and technical records.
• Helpful background: Experience authoring or revising maintenance manual figures, illustrated parts catalog entries, or task cards under ATA iSpec 2200 or S1000D conventions.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
