You will listen to Spanish audio recordings and produce precise, guideline-driven transcriptions and labels. The project focuses on identifying target words, noting audio quality and pronunciation variations, and ensuring text output matches the provided instructions.

What you'll do day-to-day

Follow detailed labeling guidelines to transcribe short spoken clips, mark target words, and flag audio quality issues. Apply consistent conventions for punctuation, filler words, and minor mispronunciations as instructed. Work independently and submit labels through the Labelbox platform.

Requirements

All of the qualifications below are required or strongly preferred for this role. Please do not apply unless you meet the location and language criteria.

  • Native Spanish speaker from Mexico or Argentina (required)
  • Strong listening and transcription skills (required)
  • Experience in audio transcription, linguistic annotation, or data labeling (preferred)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and labeling guidelines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; familiar with spoken language variations
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work with audio files
  • Minimum commitment: at least 1 hour per day, Monday–Friday, for the next 1+ year

Time commitment, pay, and platform

This is a part-time contractor role with flexible hours under 20 hours/week. You must be able to commit about 1 hour/day on weekdays for at least a year. Pay is USD $6.50 per hour and work is completed and submitted using Labelbox.
