The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting an Architect CAD and Construction Documentation Reviewer to support AI training work grounded in architectural documentation, CAD drawings, GD&T callouts, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts. You will create and review technical documentation packages, clarify requirements through exchanges, and deliver accurate real-world input aligned with milestones and quality expectations.

This is a part-time contractor position for candidates with recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation. The role is listed as entry level and requires advanced English communication for remote collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Develop comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes
  • Prepare accurate GD&T callouts for manufacturing documentation
  • Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics to industry standards
  • Design and review PCB layouts with manufacturability and functionality in mind
  • Collaborate to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions
  • Deliver thorough documentation packages aligned with milestones and quality expectations

Required Skills and Experience

Successful candidates should be comfortable working across architectural CAD, construction documentation, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts. You should be able to create and interpret technical materials accurately while communicating clearly in a remote environment.

  • Recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation
  • Ability to produce floor plans, elevation sets, and CAD drawings
  • Proficiency with industry-standard 2D and 3D CAD tools
