You will review written material used in AI training. Your work will help assess whether text is clear, accurate, natural, and useful for improving AI systems.
You will work independently and collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists. Assignments must be completed within defined project timelines with reliable, consistent results.
- Evaluate human-written and AI-generated text for clarity, coherence, accuracy, grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and meaning.
- Edit documents while maintaining high English-language standards.
- Identify and annotate writing that appears artificial, repetitive, or otherwise low quality.
- Give constructive feedback and practical editorial recommendations.
- Write analyses that help improve the quality and effectiveness of AI training datasets.
What It Pays And Takes
- Pay: $20 to $70 USD per hour as a contractor.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Applicants must be based in one of the countries listed for this role. The list covers countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Language: Professional-level English proficiency is required.
- Experience: Proven experience writing, editing, evaluating text-based documents, conducting content quality reviews, or performing editorial quality assurance work.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish differences between human-written and AI-generated text.
- Work style: Strong organization and the ability to work independently in a remote contractor engagement.
- Helpful background: A bachelor's degree in English, linguistics, or a related field, or experience teaching English.
- Helpful availability: Availability during Australia or New Zealand time zones can support project coverage.
