Create and assess expert aerospace engineering material used to evaluate AI model judgment. Your work turns engineering reasoning into realistic scenarios, reference answers, and reviews of model outputs.
- Write aerospace scenarios that cover work from requirements through design review.
- Create reference answers that explain the engineering reasoning behind decisions.
- Rate model outputs for technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Spot designs that seem credible but would fail in flight.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: $100 to $130 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe.
- Schedule: Ongoing work with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and no maximum. There are no fixed hours, and the workload can change from week to week.
- Location: Fully remote and open to candidates in supported countries.
- Work type: Independent contractor.
- Education: A degree in aerospace engineering or a closely related field.
- Specialty: Depth in at least one area such as aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, or guidance, navigation, and control.
- Communication: Clear written English and the ability to document engineering decisions.
- Helpful experience: Flight test or wind tunnel programs, tools such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, or computational fluid dynamics codes, or airworthiness and certification work involving FAA or EASA standards.
