OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help freelancers discover projects, consolidate proof of work into a single profile, and grow a durable freelance career teaching AI.
OpenTrain AI hires and contracts contributors directly for annotation, evaluation, and human-feedback tasks that shape how modern AI systems behave.
About AI training work
AI training (data labeling / annotation / human feedback) is the human layer behind machine learning — people prepare, evaluate, and refine examples that modern models learn from. This work is remote, flexible, and a direct way to influence how state-of-the-art AI systems respond.
Contributors commonly review model outputs, transcribe or record data, annotate images or audio, and write or rate responses; many projects require domain knowledge such as software engineering to produce high-quality judgments.
The role
As a Vue and Nuxt AI Trainer you will evaluate AI-generated frontend code, technical explanations, and model responses for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, and performance.
You will also produce clear reference solutions and model answers that demonstrate best practices in Vue reactivity, component composition, state management, SSR/SSG, routing, hydration, caching, and bundle performance.
What you'll do
Review AI-generated Vue and Nuxt code for correctness, maintainability, and adherence to the prompt.
Assess frontend architecture choices, runtime performance, accessibility, and security implications.
Fact-check technical explanations and write high-quality reference implementations and model answers.
Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on reasoning quality and engineering trade-offs.
Help improve model behavior across real-world Vue and Nuxt engineering scenarios.
Requirements
This role requires hands-on, professional experience building production web applications with Vue.js and Nuxt and the ability to explain technical choices in clear written English.
Strong professional experience building production web applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.
Deep knowledge of Vue 3 Composition API, reactivity, component patterns, and transitions.
Solid Nuxt fundamentals including SSR, SSG, middleware, composables, caching, and deployment patterns.
Familiarity with web security basics, browser rendering, HTTP, cookies, sessions, and OAuth flows.
Experience with testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, or Cypress.
Clear written English and a methodical approach to code review and technical evaluation.
Prior AI data training, annotation, or technical content evaluation experience is a plus.

This is a remote contractor, part-time engagement. The project runs for about 8 weeks at approximately 20 hours per week.
Open to applicants in specific countries listed below; English proficiency is required for written evaluations and reference solutions.
