The role

You will label volleyball actions in images by drawing bounding boxes around players and assigning one of five action labels. This is contractor, part-time work paid per label at $0.03.

Work is performed in CVAT (labeling software). The project accepts contributors worldwide and is suitable for entry-level annotators.

• Task: Image annotation (bounding boxes) of volleyball actions.

What you'll do day-to-day

Follow labeling guidelines and examples to consistently mark players and their actions using bounding boxes in CVAT. Focus on accuracy and consistent label application.

• Open assigned image tasks in CVAT and draw bounding boxes around players performing actions.
• Assign the correct action label: Spike, Block, Serve, Set, or Receive.
• Use provided examples and written guidelines to resolve ambiguous frames.
• Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining annotation quality.

Requirements

This project is entry level but requires reliability and attention to detail. You’ll need a basic computer or phone with internet access and the ability to learn CVAT from provided instructions.

• Entry-level: no prior labeling experience required.
• Reliable internet and access to a computer or device capable of running CVAT.
• Ability to read and follow written labeling guidelines and examples.
• Comfort working independently as a part-time contractor.
