OpenTrain is seeking a Video Data Annotation Editor to support video data curation and review. You will use Avid Media Composer workflows alongside broadcast or film post-production knowledge to prepare accurate, well-organized video data for AI training assignments.
This is remote contractor work for entry-level professionals and mid-career contributors with relevant video editing or media production experience. The expected commitment is 20 or more hours per week, with pay ranging from $15 to $80 per hour.
You will annotate and curate video data using Avid Media Composer workflows. Your work will involve reviewing sequences against project guidelines, preparing precise metadata, and maintaining organized media assets that are clear, consistent, accessible, and properly versioned.
You will also apply broadcast and film post-production practices to AI training assignments, document editorial decisions, and communicate with project managers and technical leads when requirements or media questions need clarification.
Professional experience using Avid Media Composer in video editing environments is required. You should understand broadcast or film post-production workflows and be comfortable managing detailed media information while following annotation instructions accurately.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in metadata entry are essential. Clear written and verbal communication is also important for documenting decisions and resolving questions about project requirements.
Interest in emerging technologies and a willingness to apply video-production expertise to AI-related data projects will help you succeed. Experience managing media or production projects, reviewing detailed guidelines, and documenting editorial decisions is valuable.
