The Role

OpenTrain is hiring an Urdu Music AI Evaluation Expert to assess generative music models through structured listening and quality review. You will review AI-generated songs, lyrics, and vocals across a broad range of genres and apply detailed written evaluation guidance.

This is a remote contractor position paying $11-$19 per hour. The project may last up to 6 months, with most contributors working around 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do

You will compare and classify generative music outputs while making consistent judgments against defined musical and production standards. Your reviews may cover songs, lyrics, vocals, genres, arrangements, and other musical characteristics.

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head and determine which better meets musical and production standards
• Evaluate musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality
• Classify songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
• Review generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
• Follow detailed written evaluation guidance in a consistent manner

Requirements

This role is listed at an entry level, but it requires at least two years of relevant experience in music production, audio engineering, or mixing engineering. You should bring strong listening judgment across musical performance, arrangement, vocals, and production quality.

Native or near-native Urdu proficiency is required, along with the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English. Critical listening must be performed using headphones or studio monitors suitable for careful audio review.
