The role
You will review AI-generated TypeScript code snippets and technical explanations, apply project rubrics, and produce clear, evidence-based feedback that guides model improvements. This is contractor work through OpenTrain AI, focused on consistent, high-quality code review and evaluation.

What you'll do day-to-day
Perform structured code review and evaluation tasks using project guidelines and rubrics. Document decisions clearly so reviewers, trainers, and models can learn from your work.
Evaluate model outputs against source materials, correctness, readability, and type safety.
Apply rubrics consistently and document evidence-based judgments.
Write concise explanations that explain why a rating or correction was made.
Maintain consistency across repeated review tasks to preserve dataset quality.
Requirements
Advanced TypeScript expertise: type manipulation, generics, interfaces, and utility types.
Experience reviewing TypeScript for correctness, readability, and type safety.
Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js, or Node.js application structure.
Comfort with Git workflows: branching, merging, pull requests, and modern build tooling.
Fluency in English and strong written communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed project instructions and rubrics.
Able to work independently on remote contractor tasks.
Nice-to-have
Prior AI data training or annotation experience is a plus but not required.
Experience writing clear technical explanations that others can follow.
Background in code review processes or formal QA practices.
