The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Telugu Music & Lyrics Reviewer to evaluate generative music AI models. You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres, compare lyrics with published songs, and rate results against detailed quality standards.

This role is designed for someone with strong Telugu language skills and practical knowledge of music, songwriting, performance, composition, music journalism, or the Telugu music scene.

• Work remotely from anywhere
• Start date: Immediate
• Project duration: Up to 6 months
• Flexible commitment, with most experts working around 20 hours per week
• Pay: $11–$19 per hour

What You'll Do

You will review AI-generated music and lyrics carefully, applying written evaluation criteria and your knowledge of Telugu language and music. Your feedback will help improve the quality and originality of generative music systems.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality
• Evaluate whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions
• Work in both Telugu and English
• Listen critically using suitable headphones or studio monitors

Required Qualifications

This is an entry-level opportunity for applicants who meet the language and music-related requirements. You should be comfortable following detailed written instructions in English and evaluating Telugu-language content with close attention to nuance.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist
• Knowledge of the Telugu music scene
• Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
