About OpenTrain

OpenTrain connects freelancers with AI training and data-labeling work and helps contributors build a portable portfolio of AI training projects. The platform centralizes opportunities so you can find voice, audio, and annotation work, apply quickly, and keep a unified record of your contributions.

Why AI training work matters

Human-produced audio is essential to building and improving speech and voice models. Contributors provide the high-quality recordings and consistency that help models learn to speak, understand, and evaluate natural language.

This kind of work is typically remote and flexible, making it a strong fit for freelancers looking to apply voice skills part time while building a track record in a fast-growing industry.

  • 100% remote — work from your home studio.
  • Flexible hours — fit recording around your schedule.
  • Accessible — experience and a good studio setup are key.
  • Hands-on impact — your recordings shape real speech AI systems.
