What You’ll Do
- Clean, preprocess, and structure complex or messy datasets using R, Python, SAS, or Stata.
- Apply descriptive and inferential statistical methods, including hypothesis testing and regression, to identify trends and patterns.
- Create clear data visualizations that support model development and communicate findings.
- Annotate, label, and enrich datasets used for AI training.
- Write concise summaries of methods and results for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve deliverables.
- Identify data quality issues and document solutions for dirty or incomplete data.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree, such as an MS or PhD, in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Expertise in cleaning and preparing complex datasets with statistical software.
- Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics, including hypothesis testing and regression.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for statistical analysis and visualization.
- Experience working with large, unstructured, or noisy datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English.
Helpful Background
