About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect skilled contributors with projects that shape how modern AI systems behave, and help people grow a durable freelance career in this fast-growing field.

Why AI training matters — and where voice coaching fits

AI systems learn from human examples and feedback. Voice coaching and high-quality spoken language input help models understand natural pronunciation, intonation, and conversational norms in Spanish — improving speech synthesis, transcription, and conversational assistants.

This role puts you on the human side of building AI: your coaching sessions and evaluations directly shape model behavior while giving you flexible, remote work that fits around other commitments.

The role

You will work as a Spanish Voice Coach delivering remote, part-time coaching sessions that improve communication, diction, vocal performance, articulation, intonation, and confidence. This contractor position supports AI training by producing high-quality Spanish language input and structured feedback.

Employment type: Contractor, Part-time. Time requirement: 20+ hours/week. Pay: hourly, $30–$65 USD per hour. Work language: Spanish (es). Labeling/data tasks associated with this work include evaluation ratings and text generation; tools used: other web-based labeling/collaboration software.

What you'll do

  • Conduct individualized and group coaching sessions focused on Spanish communication and vocal performance.
  • Assess client needs and develop tailored lesson plans for articulation, intonation, and confidence.
  • Provide actionable feedback on written and verbal Spanish communication.
  • Track progress and adapt coaching strategies to support measurable improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate voice coaching into broader professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records of sessions and outcomes to inform ongoing service improvement.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native Spanish proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in voice, speech, or language coaching; experience with adult learners is ideal.
  • Comfortable with remote coaching tools, digital communication, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to create engaging, effective, personalized training materials and give clear, constructive feedback.
  • Strong empathy, cultural sensitivity, organization, and time management for remote part-time work.
  • Formal training in linguistics, performing arts, or speech pathology is a plus; experience coaching professionals in customer service, sales, or public speaking is a plus.

Who should apply

You should apply if you are a Spanish-speaking coach, speech specialist, actor, teacher, or language professional who enjoys helping adults improve spoken communication and wants flexible remote work.

This role is entry-level friendly but benefits candidates with prior coaching experience, formal training in speech or linguistics, and a professional approach to record-keeping and progress measurement.

How it works and next steps

This position is offered through OpenTrain’s network of AI training projects. If selected you will onboard as a contractor, schedule sessions remotely, and log coaching outcomes for use in AI training and service improvement.

To apply, create or sign in to your OpenTrain account and submit your profile and application for this project. Be prepared to demonstrate Spanish proficiency and coaching experience in the screening process.
