The Role
As a ServiceNow Workflow AI Training Product Owner, you will support AI training work centered on ServiceNow workflow processes. You will create or improve expert responses, assess model outputs, and explain your reasoning clearly so feedback can improve model behavior.
The role is listed as entry level for AI training experience, and prior AI training experience is not required unless otherwise stated. Strong real-world knowledge of ServiceNow workflows is the most important qualification.

What You’ll Do
You will work independently through repeated review and creation tasks. Success requires thoughtful written explanations, close attention to project instructions, and consistent application of evaluation rubrics.
Write or improve expert responses and explain your reasoning clearly
Review source materials and model outputs against project guidelines
Explain judgments clearly so feedback can improve model behavior
Maintain consistency and quality across repeated review tasks
Design realistic enterprise scenarios and decision frameworks for AI training
Author JSON and use SQL for structured-data analysis and task validation
Apply prompt engineering skills to create clear, process-aligned instructions
Requirements
You should bring relevant professional or academic expertise in ServiceNow Workflow AI Training, along with strong written communication and careful attention to detail. The work requires comfort with detailed instructions, structured data, and independent remote contractor tasks.
ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, or HRSD workflow expertise
Experience with cases, incidents, requests, SLAs, and knowledge management
Proficiency in JSON authoring and SQL for structured-data analysis and validation
Prompt engineering skills for clear, process-aligned instructions
Ability to follow detailed project instructions and apply rubrics consistently
Strong English fluency and written communication
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, or CIS-HRSD are valuable
Schedule and Compensation
This role requires at least 4 hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week. You must be available for 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time. Compensation is handled through the OpenTrain project budget fields shown on this job page.
