The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking an expert SEO and digital marketing AI Trainer to evaluate AI-generated marketing outputs and improve the reasoning quality of model responses. The work covers search intent, keyword strategy, on-page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, attribution, and compliance risk.
You may also create expert-level materials such as content briefs, strategy notes, optimizations, and analyses. This is a part-time contractor role requiring 20+ hours per week, with compensation of $30-$65 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will use your professional SEO and digital marketing judgment to assess whether model outputs are accurate, strategically sound, clear, practical, and aligned with the requested prompt. You will provide evaluations and create strong examples when the task calls for expert content.
Review AI-generated SEO and marketing responses for accuracy, clarity, brand fit, and prompt adherence
Identify problems with search intent alignment, keyword strategy, on-page SEO, technical SEO logic, and content structure
Fact-check claims and flag risky or unsupported marketing statements
Rate and compare model responses for effectiveness, reasoning quality, and practical applicability
Create expert SEO and digital marketing materials, including briefs, analyses, and strategy notes
Test outputs for inaccuracies, compliance pitfalls, bias, and other model integrity concerns
Requirements
This role requires substantial professional experience in SEO or digital marketing and the ability to evaluate both writing quality and strategic reasoning. Candidates should be comfortable reviewing detailed marketing outputs and identifying subtle technical, analytical, and compliance issues.
At least 5 years of professional SEO and/or digital marketing experience in-house, agency, or consultancy settings
Strong command of keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, and SERP analysis
Working knowledge of crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals basics, and schema
Strong analytics instincts with GA4, Search Console, dashboards, experiment design, and attribution caveats
Ability to evaluate writing and strategy for clarity, structure, persuasion, and brand voice
Minimum C1 English proficiency
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Background
Experience translating marketing expertise into consistent reviews, editorial decisions, or structured examples is especially valuable for this work. Familiarity with AI training, editorial quality assurance, content operations, or performance marketing review is strongly preferred.
