The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Senior Python AI Response Reviewer to evaluate AI-generated Python solutions and technical explanations. You will assess correctness, code quality, performance, prompt adherence, reasoning quality, and implementation soundness.

The role requires expert-level Python production experience, strong software engineering judgment, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly in English and Chinese.

• Time requirement: 20+ hours per week
• Pay: $60 USD per hour

• Work includes RLHF, evaluation and rating, and text generation

What You'll Do

• Review Python solutions and technical explanations generated by AI
• Assess correctness, code quality, performance, and adherence to the prompt
• Identify logic, architecture, methodology, and implementation errors
• Fact-check technical information and improve the clarity of explanations
• Write clear, step-by-step technical explanations
• Produce reference content and exemplary solutions that demonstrate strong software engineering practices
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on reasoning quality and implementation soundness

Requirements

This is an expert-level role for a senior software engineer with substantial hands-on Python production experience. You should be comfortable evaluating both the implementation details and the broader technical reasoning behind AI-generated responses.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field
• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands-on Python production experience
• Deep knowledge of Python language features, the standard library, and common ecosystems such as web frameworks, data tooling, or backend services
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, system design, and performance optimization in Python applications
• Experience designing, reviewing, and improving high-quality Python codebases
• Code review and mentoring experience
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and containerization technologies
• Minimum C1 English proficiency
• Minimum C1 Chinese proficiency, including written and spoken communication
• Ability to write clear technical explanations in English
