You will review complex nondestructive testing data and explain the technical reasoning behind your findings. Your assessments will help improve AI systems that detect issues in industrial inspection records.
The work includes interpreting several types of imaging and inspection data, assessing the quality and limits of each inspection, and documenting recommendations for annotation, labeling, and model development.
- Review industrial CT volumes, X-ray images, ultrasonic scans, shearography data, and fiber optic inspection records.
- Write assessments and inspection dispositions that explain findings and the reasoning behind each decision.
- Evaluate imaging quality, detection limits, false positives, and false negatives.
- Apply ASNT, NAS 410, and EN 4179 standards when assessing inspection outcomes.
- Document expert recommendations that support data annotation, labeling, and model development.
- Communicate clearly, refine technical deliverables, and respond to technical questions.
