The role

OpenTrain and OpenTrain are recruiting a Sanskrit Language Expert to review, translate, and develop Sanskrit text used in AI-training datasets and educational content. You will apply your deep linguistic knowledge to ensure textual accuracy, provide contextual interpretation of classical materials, and help create high-quality Sanskrit resources.

What you'll do

Your day-to-day work will combine hands-on text tasks and advisory contributions. Projects will vary and can include translation, proofreading, content development, and QA for language materials intended for educational or digital platforms.

• Translate, review, and proofread Sanskrit texts for accuracy and clarity.
• Develop high-quality Sanskrit content for educational, cultural, or digital use.
• Interpret and contextualize classical Sanskrit literature for modern applications.

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate advanced Sanskrit proficiency and proven experience working with Sanskrit texts. This role emphasizes linguistic expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver accurate, well-contextualized content in a remote, independent setting.
