About AI training work in language
AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human side of building intelligent systems. For language projects, experts provide translations, reviews, and curated examples that teach models to read, write, and reason correctly in a language.
Contributors shape how models handle grammar, style, cultural context, and nuance. This work is often remote, flexible, and accessible: many projects need deep domain knowledge rather than prior AI experience.
- Work helps models learn accurate grammar, idiom, and cultural context.
- Many projects are part-time and remote, suitable for academics, teachers, and language professionals.
