OpenTrain AI is hiring Ruby AI Code Review Engineers for contract work in the fast-growing AI training industry. OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling, helping contributors discover opportunities, build a professional profile, and grow a lasting portfolio of work.
AI models improve through carefully reviewed examples and human feedback. In this role, your Ruby and Rails expertise will help evaluate whether AI-generated code is correct, logical, maintainable, and clearly explained, directly shaping how coding models perform.
You will review and compare AI-generated Ruby and Ruby on Rails solutions, evaluate the quality of their reasoning, and provide detailed technical feedback. The work includes identifying issues in MVC structure, domain modeling, control flow, readability, and maintainability.
You will also fact-check technical content and write idiomatic Ruby examples and model answers that demonstrate strong engineering practices. Reviews should assess correctness, clarity, testability, and long-term code quality.
Your evaluations will help distinguish strong AI-generated solutions from responses that are incomplete, misleading, or difficult to maintain. You will explain the reasoning behind your judgments and produce high-quality examples that can guide better model behavior.
This role requires professional Ruby programming experience in production environments and hands-on experience building or maintaining Ruby or Rails applications. You should be comfortable judging both technical correctness and the quality of explanations in English.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field is preferred. Prior AI data training, large-scale code review, or evaluation of AI-generated technical content is strongly preferred.
The following experience can help you succeed in the role, particularly when evaluating varied codebases and advanced model outputs.
AI training and data labeling work offers a flexible way to contribute to cutting-edge technology. OpenTrain helps you manage opportunities, present credible experience, and build a profile that supports long-term growth in this expanding field.
