The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Pandas Data Analysis Task Creator for hourly remote contract work. You will create challenging, realistic computer-based tasks using Python, Pandas, CSV datasets, and Jupyter notebooks.

Tasks should reflect practical business, finance, operations, research, reporting, or data-analysis use cases. You will also review submissions for completeness, clarity, realism, reproducibility, and compliance with project guidelines.

• Advertised rate: up to $20 per hour
• Time requirement: 20 or more hours per week
• Experience level: Entry level
• Contractor and part-time engagement

What You'll Do

You will design and document practical Pandas tasks that demonstrate how people work with data in real computer environments. Each task should provide a clear, reproducible workflow and accurately capture the intended analysis process.

• Load, clean, filter, group, aggregate, merge, reshape, analyze, and export data
• Create realistic Python and Jupyter notebook tasks
• Use CSV datasets and other files in computer-based workflows
• Prepare reproducible environments and install packages when needed
• Record computer workflows clearly
• Review tasks for completeness, clarity, realism, and reproducibility
• Follow project guidelines and communicate task context accurately

Requirements

You should have hands-on Pandas experience in data cleaning, transformation, analysis, reporting, or data-processing workflows. The role requires practical familiarity with core Pandas concepts and the ability to create tasks that another person can run and understand.

English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required, along with strong attention to detail, self-direction, reliable delivery, and the ability to follow project guidelines.

• Strong knowledge of DataFrames and Series
• Experience with indexing, filtering, sorting, grouping, merging, and reshaping
• Understanding of missing values and file input and output
• Ability to run Python scripts or notebooks
• Ability to manage files and install packages when needed
• Ability to document and record workflows clearly
• Reliable communication and delivery
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Helpful Background
