The Role

You will work as a contractor on speech-focused AI training tasks involving audio collection, transcription, annotation, and quality review. The role is entry-level friendly but requires native or near-native Norwegian and a strong ear for pronunciation.

• Record high-quality Norwegian audio samples with clear pronunciation and minimal background noise.
• Transcribe and annotate audio following project guidelines with careful attention to detail.
• Review speech data quality and give constructive feedback to improve labeling accuracy.
• Support AI workflow processes through close collaboration with the project team and organized file management.
• Apply phonetic knowledge where useful to ensure correct pronunciation and intonation across recordings.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian (language accuracy is essential).

Compensation, Schedule & Tools

This is a contractor, part-time role with a typical time commitment of 20+ hours per week. Work is remote and open worldwide to qualified Norwegian speakers.

Pay is on an hourly basis: $10–$45 per hour (projects may vary within this range). Labeling work will focus on audio data including transcription, data collection, and evaluation/rating. The project uses 'OTHER' labeling software (details provided to selected contractors).
