About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building AI: people create, review, and rate the examples that models learn from. This role sits at the intersection of no-code automation and model evaluation — you’ll build realistic automations and use them to prompt and challenge models so AI improves on practical business workflows.
Work is 100% remote and flexible — good for part-time schedules.
Projects often require careful, repeatable annotation and rubric-based evaluation.
The role
OpenTrain AI is hiring a No-Code Automation Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Zapier and/or Make.com. You will create, test, and refine workflow automation scenarios that are used to train and evaluate AI, focusing on triggers, actions, multi-step flows, filters, branching logic, integrations, and accurate data flow.
Employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
Time commitment: 20+ hours per week.
Data type: Text; label type: Computer programming/coding (annotations and evaluations of automation logic and prompts).
What you'll do
You will design realistic automation tasks and prompts, run them against model outputs, and assess correctness, robustness, and reliability. Work covers building end-to-end automations, reviewing AI-generated steps or suggestions, and improving solutions for efficiency and error handling.
Create and document multi-step Zapier/Make workflows (triggers, actions, filters, branching).
Write prompts and challenge-model scenarios that exercise automation logic and integrations.
Review and annotate model outputs, apply rubric-based QA, and provide corrective feedback.
Incorporate AI-powered steps and no-code/low-code API integrations where appropriate.
Produce clear technical documentation translating business requirements into automation logic.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the stated experience and submission requirements below.
2+ years hands-on experience with Zapier and/or Make.com and building end-to-end automations across business functions.
Hands-on text annotation, evaluation, or rubric-based QA experience.
Experience evaluating LLM outputs for legal reasoning quality (required).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical automation logic and clear documentation.
English writing proficiency at B2+ level; CV must be in English and state your English level, include email address and phone number.
Experience with AI steps, enrichments, or LLM integrations is a plus.
Compensation, schedule, and hiring restrictions
Pay is hourly: $15–$45 USD per hour (paid per hour). This is a part-time contractor role with a minimum expectation of 20+ hours per week. OpenTrain AI is the hiring organization for this role.
Contractor, part-time engagement with flexible scheduling.
Candidates located in the following places cannot be hired: Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Venezuela, Myanmar, Russia, Belarus, Palestine, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Kenya; U.S. states: Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisian
How to apply
Submit a CV in English that clearly states your English proficiency level and includes an email address and phone number. Highlight Zapier/Make projects you built and any experience evaluating LLM outputs, especially related to legal reasoning or rubric-based QA.
Do not invent or omit required details—your CV should show relevant automations, examples of evaluations/annotations, and your language level.
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a sample task demonstrating automation design and model-output evaluation.
