The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Music and Lyrics AI Evaluation Expert with native or near-native German proficiency. You will assess AI-generated music and lyrics across genres, compare lyrics with published songs, and judge how well the output meets detailed quality standards.

This is a contract, part-time remote role with a flexible commitment of around 20 hours per week. Work may continue for up to six months, with compensation ranging from $30 to $58 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will critically review AI-generated audio and lyrics, applying consistent judgment across musical genres and German-language expression. Your evaluations will focus on quality, creativity, originality, prompt adherence, and naturalness.

• Listen to AI-generated music across a wide range of genres
• Evaluate music against detailed quality standards
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality
• Assess whether German lyrics sound natural and idiomatic
• Evaluate word choice, slang, and regional expressions

Requirements

This role is listed at the entry level, but it requires practical or professional familiarity with music and lyrics. You should be comfortable following detailed written instructions in English while making nuanced evaluations in German.

• Native or near-native proficiency in German
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
