The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Medical Doctor with specialist training and substantial clinical experience to review AI-generated clinical responses and create expert medical content. You will evaluate accuracy, safety, differential diagnosis, red-flag recognition, test interpretation, treatment planning, and the quality of written clinical reasoning across medical use cases.
This is an expert-level, text-focused role for a clinician who can provide precise feedback and gold-standard answers in English. The work requires careful judgment about unsafe recommendations, contraindications, escalation decisions, and internal consistency.

What You’ll Do
You will assess clinical model outputs against high standards for correctness, clarity, safety, and adherence to the prompt. Your evaluations and written explanations will help improve AI reasoning across clinical scenarios.
Review AI-generated clinical answers for accuracy, clarity, safety, and prompt adherence.
Identify problems in differential diagnosis, triage, risk stratification, and escalation decisions.
Fact-check medical information and produce high-quality explanations and model solutions.
Compare multiple responses and rate them according to correctness and reasoning quality.
Develop prompts and gold-standard answers across topics aligned with your specialty.
Test AI outputs for unsafe recommendations, bias, and internal consistency.
Prioritize can’t-miss conditions when assessing differential diagnoses.
Evaluate outpatient, observation, and admission decisions through clinical risk stratification.
Interpret diagnostic tests using pre-test probability and clinical context.
Review recommendations for contraindications, red flags, and other patient safety concerns.
Requirements
Applicants must bring advanced clinical expertise and strong written communication skills. Prior experience with AI data training or healthcare content review is preferred but not required unless stated below.
MD or DO with completed specialty training and board eligibility or certification.
At least 5 years of post-training clinical experience in a specialty setting.
Advanced clinical reasoning in diagnosis, triage, and treatment planning.
Advanced differential diagnosis and prioritization of can’t-miss conditions.
Strong clinical safety judgment regarding unsafe recommendations, contraindications, and red flags.
Ability to interpret diagnostic tests using pre-test probability and context.
Careful attention to detail when reviewing clinical content and patient safety issues.
Minimum C1 English proficiency with strong written medical explanation skills.
Experience comparing AI-generated clinical answers for correctness and safety.
Experience with AI data training, guideline work, utilization review, clinical documentation review, or healthcare editorial quality assurance is strongly preferred.
