Requirements

This role requires strong domain expertise and excellent technical writing skills. All required details below are part of the role.

Experience creating educational or assessment content is highly desirable but not strictly required if other qualifications are met.

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Specialization in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics, Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
• Ability to explain complex mechanical engineering concepts clearly in writing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to technical accuracy.
• Experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly desirable.
• Comfort working independently in a remote contractor role and familiarity with collaborative online platforms or workflow tools is helpful.

Compensation, Time, and Format

Pay: Hourly, USD $50–70 per hour (hourlyRate listed as $70; range $50–$70).
