About this role

OpenTrain is hiring freelance Mandarin speech data reviewers to create and evaluate high-quality Mandarin audio and transcriptions for AI training. This is contractor, part-time work with a minimum weekly time expectation of 20+ hours.

Prior AI experience is not required, but candidates must be native Mandarin speakers with strong pronunciation and a careful ear for linguistic detail.

What you'll do

Work remotely to produce and assess Mandarin speech data that will be used to train and improve speech models. Tasks focus on clarity, linguistic accuracy, and consistent annotation.

• Record clear Mandarin audio samples with accurate pronunciation and intonation.
• Transcribe and annotate Mandarin speech with precision and consistency.
• Review and evaluate recordings for audio quality and phonetic/language accuracy.
• Provide feedback to improve workflows, data quality, and project outputs.

Requirements
