The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Lifestyle AI Recipe Creator to develop domain-specific recipes that teach an AI assistant inside Google Sheets how to turn plain-text requests into fully functional, interactive applications.

You will focus on lifestyle scenarios such as personal fitness tracking, event planning, road trips, or pet care. You will own each recipe from initial discovery parameters through final app iteration, ensuring that the guidance reflects genuine lived practice, practical edge cases, and an authentic human voice.

This is a contractor, part-time role requiring availability for 40 hours per week, including eight hours of overlap with PST and weekend on-call availability.

What You'll Do

You will take ownership of assigned lifestyle scenarios and turn your practical knowledge into clear instructions, interview flows, reference spreadsheets, and tested AI-generated visual applications. Each deliverable should address real user needs and sound like it was created by an experienced human practitioner.

• Own assigned lifestyle scenarios from initial discovery parameters through final application iteration.
• Write original domain rules, gotchas, and discovery parameters in your own words to guide the assistant's logic.
• Create step-by-step interview questions that help the assistant resolve ambiguity in a user's initial request.
• Build and verify reference Google Sheets that provide the functional foundation for data models and formulas.
• Test and refine AI-generated visual apps until they reflect real-world user needs.
• Participate in daily check-ins, quality-control reviews, and final quality sign-offs.

Requirements

The strongest candidates bring direct, hands-on experience with at least one lifestyle scenario, such as maintaining workout logs, organizing weddings, mapping multi-city trips, or caring for pets. You should understand the practical details, exceptions, and common problems that an AI assistant might otherwise miss.

All foundational content must be written by you in clear, natural English before any AI refinement. The client evaluates deliverables for an authentic human voice, so content must not sound AI-generated.

• Deep familiarity with the real-world edge cases and gotchas of an assigned lifestyle scenario.
• Exceptional plain-English writing skills and the ability to produce authentic, human-sounding content.
• Strong ability to build clean, multi-tab Google Sheets with everyday formulas, clear organization, and structured validation.
• Ability to anticipate user intent and design natural interview questions that uncover missing requirements.
• Availability for 40 hours per week, including eight hours of overlap with PST.
• Weekend on-call availability.
• A personal desktop or laptop and stable, high-speed internet in a remote work setup.

Helpful Background

A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field is helpful. Previous experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
