What you'll do

• Review and evaluate legal writing and AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, legal reasoning, and clarity.
• Answer legal domain questions with concise, well-reasoned explanations and citations where appropriate.
• Identify and recommend authoritative reference material (cases, statutes, treatises) relevant to prompts and responses.
• Share practical insights about legal workflows, tools, and professional standards used in practice.
• Provide structured feedback that model teams can use to improve legal outputs and reduce hallucinations.

Requirements

• Admission to a United States state bar (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional legal experience.
• Experience researching with case law databases, statutes, and legal treatises.
• Strong legal writing or publishing background (memos, briefs, CLE materials, or similar).
• Comfort using everyday AI tools (for review and feedback) and professional working English.
• Reliable availability for approximately 10 hours per week and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be located in the United States (work is US-based).

Helpful background

The following experience is not required but is valuable and may lead to more work or higher hourly assignments.

• Experience as a legal librarian or in legal research roles.
• Practice spanning multiple areas such as contracts, litigation, regulatory/compliance, corporate, or intellectual property.

Pay, schedule, and logistics

Pay is hourly, paid per hour for work completed. The listed rate range is $65–$90 per hour, with compensation up to $90/hr depending on experience and the complexity of tasks.

This is a contractor, part-time role structured for consistent participation at about 10 hours per week; work may continue and expand over time.
