The role
We are hiring a native Bahasa Indonesia voice specialist based in Indonesia to record and evaluate audio for text-to-speech (TTS) training. This is a contractor, part-time role requiring 20+ hours per week.
Compensation: $50 USD per hour. Employment types: contractor, part-time. Work is remote but you must be located in Indonesia.
What you'll do
You will record clean, consistent voice samples following precise recording guidelines and deliver multiple takes when different emotions or styles are requested.
- Read scripts naturally while preserving clarity, consistent accent, and expressive delivery.
- Adjust tone, pace, emphasis, and style across multiple takes.
- Follow recording setup guidance for microphone quality, environment, and file formatting.
- Record voice samples used for speech model training and evaluation.
Requirements
The role requires native-level Bahasa Indonesia, a professional or near-professional recording setup, and experience performing with consistent diction and emotional range.
- Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker based in Indonesia (required).
- Experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- Professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone and quiet space).
- Strong diction, intonation, and emotional range; ability to maintain consistent voice and accent across sessions.
- Comfort with voice cloning for an AI agent.
- Fluency in English is a plus but not required.
- Availability for 20+ hours per week as a contractor (part-time).
- Experience level: entry level — prior professional work helpful but not mandatory if you meet other requirements.
