About OpenTrain OpenTrain is the centralized, open platform where AI training and data-labeling freelancers find work, consolidate opportunities across platforms, and build a unified AI training portfolio they control. We make specialized AI training work easier to track, apply for, and grow into a durable freelance career.
About this role OpenTrain is recruiting for a Household and Lifestyle AI Evaluation Expert to help refine AI-generated tools for personal productivity and family management. You will ground large language models in practical household systems, including chore rotation, family scheduling, media curation, pet medical records, vehicle logs, subscription tracking, and collection management. This role combines domain expertise with structured evaluation, spreadsheet logic, context validation, and quality review to ensure AI outputs reflect professional organizing and lifestyle management standards.
What you will do Define discovery parameters such as household size, member roles, recurring routines, and subscription sets. Establish guardrails for fair chore rotation, renewal alert timing, age-appropriate tasks, and media-related flags. Co-design workflows and validate context files such as family calendars, subscription lists, and watchlists. Verify schedule rollups, task rotation logic, subscription cost calculations, and validation lists across personal productivity tools. Translate everyday routines and recurring rules into deterministic spreadsheet formulas and validation structures. Review paired deliverables and confirm that they meet professional organizing practices.
Required skills At least five years of experience in household or lifestyle management, professional organizing, productivity system design, or media and content curation is required. Candidates should have deep familiarity with family schedule coordination, rotating chores, subscription auditing, vehicle and pet logging, and collection management. Strong concise professional writing and the ability to convert daily routines into clear spreadsheet logic are essential. Experience with peer review, paired work, and calibration against strict quality benchmarks is required. A personal desktop or laptop with stable, high-speed internet is also required for remote work.
Helpful background A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field is welcome. Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or another analytical role can help you contribute, but it is not required. The strongest candidates combine practical household systems knowledge with careful judgment and the ability to explain why a workflow, rule, or calculation is correct.
Why work with OpenTrain OpenTrain gives freelancers one place to manage AI training opportunities instead of rebuilding proof of work on every platform.
