About AI Training Work

AI training (data labeling/annotation) is the human backbone of modern AI—people annotate audio, text, images, and video so models learn correct language, context, and behavior. These roles are often remote, flexible, and accessible to contributors with language skills and attention to detail.

As a transcriber and annotator, you directly shape how speech-enabled systems understand Hindi speech by producing high-quality transcripts, corrections, and metadata.

The Role

You will transcribe Hindi audio, correct machine-generated transcripts, apply metadata tags, and review outputs for clarity and consistency. This is a contractor, part-time role with a minimum expected commitment of 20+ hours per week.

What You'll Do

Produce accurate, readable Hindi transcripts and polish machine outputs so they're ready for model training and quality review. Apply metadata and annotations to help organize and retrieve audio assets.

• Transcribe Hindi audio with strong language fidelity and clear formatting.
• Audit and correct machine-generated transcripts for errors and omissions.
• Add metadata tags and annotation fields to support search and dataset organization.
• Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguous utterances, or privacy concerns.
• Provide concise written feedback and documentation for reviewers and project managers.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the core skills and experience listed below. This is an entry-level friendly role if you already have hands-on transcription or annotation experience.

• Fluent spoken and written Hindi (required).
• Experience transcribing audio and correcting machine-generated transcripts.
• Familiarity with transcription software and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow guidelines.
• Clear written communication for documenting issues and feedback.

Schedule, Pay, And Logistics

This is a remote, contractor position open worldwide. Expect flexible scheduling but reliable, timely delivery of assigned work. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive audio per project guidelines.

• Pay: $16.00 per hour (hourly rate provided).
