About AI training work

The role

We are hiring native Gujarati speakers to work on an audio labeling project as contractors with OpenTrain AI. You will listen to audio clips, transcribe content accurately, and mark segments according to clear guidelines.

This role uses our internal proprietary tooling for annotation and requires basic Google Sheets for task management. Training is provided, so no prior annotation experience is necessary.

What you'll do day-to-day

Follow provided guidelines to create reliable transcriptions and segment audio clips where needed. Work consistently each day to help the project meet quality and throughput goals.

• Listen to short audio clips in Gujarati and produce accurate transcriptions.
• Mark segment boundaries and apply classification labels per instructions.
• Track and report task progress using Google Sheets as instructed.
• Complete training and follow quality-check feedback from reviewers.

Requirements

Your qualifications are simple and focused on language skill and consistency. OpenTrain provides the annotation training — bring attention to detail and reliability.

• Native fluency in Gujarati (Standard Language).
• Ability to work 3–5 hours daily on a consistent schedule.
• Basic understanding of Google Sheets for task management.
• No prior annotation experience required; training will be provided.

Compensation and schedule

This project pays a fixed USD 115. You will be engaged as a contractor and can participate from anywhere worldwide.

The role expects steady daily contributions (3–5 hours); exact scheduling is coordinated through OpenTrain once you are onboarded.
