The Role
OpenTrain is hiring a Go Code Review Developer to review AI-generated code, validate solutions for quality and reliability, and resolve difficult coding issues that arise during AI validation.
The work focuses on code quality, correctness, efficiency, and dependable backend implementation. You will provide constructive feedback, collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams, and help maintain high engineering standards.

What You'll Do
You will assess AI-generated Go solutions against software development best practices and determine whether implementations are accurate, efficient, maintainable, and dependable. You will also investigate challenging issues and communicate clear recommendations for improvement.
Review AI-generated code and solutions for quality and correctness
Validate the accuracy, efficiency, and dependability of generated code
Resolve difficult Go coding issues during AI validation
Provide constructive feedback to improve engineering quality
Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams

Requirements and Helpful Background
This opportunity is suited to a software engineer with strong Go programming knowledge, sound code-review judgment, and the ability to diagnose difficult backend issues. You should be comfortable communicating clearly in written and spoken English and collaborating effectively with other engineers.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required. Experience with AI systems or code-creation technologies is valuable, and public GitHub contributions, familiarity with large codebases, and backend development experience are helpful.
