The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a German Litigation AI Evaluation Attorney to benchmark how well AI systems answer real questions of German law. You will compare responses from two AI platforms, assess them against a standardized rubric, and provide concise written feedback.
This is a fully remote, flexible contractor project for qualified legal professionals in Germany. The initial commitment is approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for additional work. All project work is covered by a nondisclosure agreement.

What You’ll Do
You will conduct structured evaluations of AI-generated legal responses. Consistency, fairness, and close attention to the evaluation criteria will be essential.
Run the same set of prompts across two AI or large language model platforms
Compare the resulting outputs side by side
Score each response against the project’s standardized rubric
Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation
Maintain consistency and fairness across all evaluations
Deliver completed evaluations by the required deadlines
Required Qualifications
This role requires professional expertise in German litigation and disputes work, along with the ability to evaluate AI-generated legal content independently and precisely.
At least 2 years of litigation or disputes experience at a German law firm; 3 or more years preferred
Qualified and licensed to practice law in Germany as a Rechtsanwalt or Rechtsanwältin
Strong command of German litigation and procedural law
Native or fluent German with precise written communication
Ability to score AI-generated legal responses against a provided rubric
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
