About AI training and why it matters
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building modern AI. People prepare, review, and correct audio so models learn realistic pronunciation, regional accents, and natural speech patterns.
These projects are often remote and flexible, and they provide an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology without prior AI or software development experience.
The role
OpenTrain is recruiting German-native contributors to record, annotate, and review German audio for speech-model training. This contractor, part-time role is remote and best for people with a sharp ear for phonetics, pronunciation, and regional accents.
The position is entry level in terms of AI-training experience, but it requires native fluency in German and comfort working independently on detailed audio tasks.
