The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a First-Person Household Video Data Collector to record everyday household chores and specified physical tasks from a first-person point of view. You will create synchronized video footage while performing required movements and follow instructions for framing, stability, and consistency.

This is an entry-level, part-time contractor opportunity for eligible U.S. residents in participating states. The expected time commitment is 20 or more hours per week, with payment of $13-$15 per hour for qualifying recorded video submitted according to project guidelines.

What You'll Do

Requirements

You must own a compatible smartphone and be comfortable wearing a phone mount or head strap while recording. Careful attention to framing and project guidelines is essential, along with the physical ability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely.

• Compatible iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 through 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later
• Ability to capture stable, synchronized first-person video
• Comfort using a head strap or hands-free phone mount
• Physical ability to complete repetitive household movement tasks safely

• Reliable, independent execution of assigned recording activities
• English language capability
