The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Financial Statement and Accounting Data Reviewer to contribute professional accounting judgment to AI training datasets. You will work with financial documentation and accounting processes, reviewing information for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to sound accounting practices.

What You'll Do
You will examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records used to prepare or audit financial statements. You will also evaluate financial statements prepared by others and provide clear documentation of your findings.
The work includes applying knowledge of accounting, economics, taxation, law, and government regulations to financial AI training data. You will communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Review accounting records used in financial statement preparation and audits
- Evaluate financial statements for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and sound accounting practices
- Provide guidance on financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and accounting principles
- Apply expertise in cost accounting and budgetary controls
- Review or advise on systems used to record costs and budgetary data
- Document findings clearly and explain technical accounting concepts
Requirements
This role is designed for an accounting or audit professional with substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements. A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
The position is listed at entry level in the engagement profile, but the work requires substantive accounting and audit knowledge. Professional experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, or Revenue Tax Specialist is relevant.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting, economics, taxation, law, and government regulations
