The Role

As an Experienced Egocentric Video Contributor, you will record head-mounted, first-person video of ordinary household activities such as cooking, tidying, doing laundry, and organizing. Written guidelines will be provided for each recording session.

This is a part-time contractor opportunity for contributors based in the United States or Canada. The expected commitment is under two hours per week, on your own schedule, and the project is expected to continue for three months or longer.

• Pay: $30 per hour
• Expected commitment: under 2 hours per week

What You'll Do

You will use your own phone and head strap mount to capture first-person footage while completing household tasks. A short sample clip is required so the recording setup and video quality can be reviewed before work begins.

• Record cooking, tidying, laundry, and organizing activities
• Follow the written instructions provided for each session
• Capture a 30 to 60 second sample clip
• Use the same phone and head strap for the sample that you would use for the work
• Maintain strong accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

This role is intended for contributors who have already completed egocentric recording work and can discuss their relevant experience. You should be comfortable working in English and able to produce clear first-person footage from your home.

• Prior egocentric recording experience, such as Atlas Capture, Perle, Claru, OneForma, or similar
• Your own head strap mount
• A mobile phone with a good camera
• Reliable home Wi-Fi
• Fluent English proficiency
• Based in the United States or Canada
• Comfort discussing relevant experience for this role
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
