The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring an Excel AI Training and Evaluation Expert for a remote, United States-based W-2 position. You will support a generative AI initiative focused on improving how AI systems understand and work with spreadsheets.

The role is classified as entry level, but it requires advanced professional Excel expertise and the ability to apply that knowledge across multiple industries and business functions.

  • Location: United States
  • Pay: $70-$100 per hour
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week on weekdays through the end of September, then 20 hours per week thereafter
  • Expected availability: 20 or more hours per week

What You'll Do

You will guide research teams on Excel-based tasks and help maintain accurate, useful training data. The work combines spreadsheet expertise, task design, solution writing, evaluation, and clear communication.

You will also collaborate with other subject matter experts to apply project guidelines consistently and support high-quality results.
