The Role
OpenTrain AI is hiring an English Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated English content and trainer or QA submissions across AI training projects. You will assess accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, grammar, tone, formatting, instruction-following, and rubric alignment.
You will also help contributors improve through precise written feedback, support remote project communication, maintain quality documentation, and strengthen QA processes across current and future projects. This is an intermediate-level, part-time contractor role for candidates in the United States.

What You’ll Do
You will combine careful English-language review with practical quality leadership. The work requires consistent judgment, clear communication, and the ability to turn detailed standards into useful guidance for trainers and quality reviewers.
Review AI-generated English content and trainer or QA work for quality and consistency
Check submissions against project guidelines, rubrics, and expected standards
Evaluate accuracy, clarity, reasoning, grammar, tone, formatting, and instruction-following
Provide clear written feedback and escalate recurring quality issues
Communicate updates, instructions, and workflow changes to trainers and QAs
Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, and onboarding materials
Support onboarding and training calls for trainers and QAs
Help improve QA workflows and strengthen quality processes across future projects
Required Skills and Experience
Strong English writing and editing skills are central to this role. You should be comfortable applying detailed rubrics and style guides, identifying subtle quality problems, and explaining your recommendations constructively in writing.
Strong English grammar, tone, clarity, and structure
Experience in quality assurance, editing, content review, AI training, annotation, or localization QA
Ability to evaluate writing against detailed rubrics and style guides
Ability to explain issues clearly and give constructive written feedback
Familiarity with AI training, content review, or localization QA workflows
Comfort using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools
Strong organizational skills
Experience supporting remote collaboration is a plus
